To the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas (?) of the County of Washington Terence Sheridan of the town of Kingsbury, in the county aforesaid Reports that he was born in Ireland in the County of Longford, Parish of Granard, in the Kingdom of Great Britain, that he is of the age of twenty nine years, that he embarked for the United States from Dublin, on the twenty eighth day of April 1832 and landed at Quebec in the Province of Lower Canada on the twentieth day of June following that he proceeded immediately to the state of New York and arrived at the Town of Kingsbury in the County of Washington, a State aforesaid, where he has resided ever since, and where he now resided : that he is a married man : was married in Ireland in 1827. that he has two children, one born in Ireland, and one born in Quebec in the Provinces of Lower Canada : that he is a Laborer by trade : that he never took any oath of allegiance and that he came to the United States with the intention of becoming a citizen of the United States and residing therein.
