MY NAME IS DANNY FITZPATRICK--LOOKING FOR MY GRANDFATHERS ROOTS WILLIAM FITZPATRICK-HIS FATHER AND MOTHER WERE (my great-grand parents)THOMAS FITZPATRICK AND CATHERINE O'ROURKE FROM BALLYMAHON, COUNTY LONGFORD. My grand father(William) was born around 1886, he sailed on the Teutonic out of Queenstown on April 27, 1907 (that what was from Ellis Island records) and was sponsored by his uncle Willian O'Rouke who live in Brooklyn,NY. My cousin and I traced my grand mothers (Honoria Rooney) roots to Kiltimagh,(Ballurclery)Mayo. I was in the church she was baptized in and saw the church records,and was in the house(ruins) she was born in. We had a great trip to Ireland. My Grand Parents were married in Brooklyn around 1914.
