Both were born in Longford - seems that James was the father of Thomas - seems that Thomas emigrated to Canada in the 1850s, Mary Ann earlier. They met in Canada and married 2. Michael Caughlin b. 1811? married Mary Eagen b. 1809. Both were born in Longford - seems that James was the father of Michael - seems that both emigrated in the 1830s 3.
