Surname LEONARD Siblings: Michael, b. 1860-1870 in Ireland; immigrated to NY, USA ca. 1893; d. unknown date, probably in NY; Mary, b. ca. 1863 in Longford, Ireland; married Patrick GREEN, probably in Ireland; d. 1893 in Lancashire, England; Catherine, b. 1865 in Longford, Ireland; married (1) Michael CARROLL in Lancashire, England; married (2) Philip STINSON in Lancashire, England; immigrated to Rensselaer County, NY, USA, in 1906; d. 1942 in Troy, Rensselaer County, NY, USA. There may have been other siblings; however, I only know about the three above. The New York State US death certificate for Catherine (Leonard) CARROLL STINSON showed her parents' names as Patrick LEONARD and Mary FAHEY. The informant was her step-daughter, Mary (Stinson) SICKLES. I have been unable to determine the parish or village in County Longford where this family originally lived. Both Mary and Catherine indicated on their Lancashire census entries that they were born in Longford, Ireland.
