My ancestors PATRICK MCMANUS (b. abt. 1792) and his wife BRIDGET MURPHY (b. abt. 1794), were both reportedly born in Longford County. I don't know much else about them or any of their family. I assume that they married there, but I don't know this for sure. I do know that in 1831, they were in Penn Yan, Yates Co., New York, USA, where my g-g-grandfather Owen McManus was born.
