I am new to this list and am trying to trace my Irish ancestors. My great, great, great grandfather was born in 1800 in Longford. His name was John Morris and he grew up to be a whipmaker and moved to the UK sometime before 1836 (I have details of his marriage to Sarah Russell in Manchester in that year).
