HI Rhoda, This is where we both need a map of the Granard area for 1800. My family, CREAMER, is from Abbeylara and the records are listed under "Granard." I have also opened the other parishes listed and I have found more family members. Actually, Abbeylara is only about 3 miles from Granard, and the only church I know about in Abbeylara is that "lovely" ruined monastery. I suspect that the priest came to Abbeylara for a few hours and then recorded the data at Granard (or, perhaps the people made a journey to Granard for a marrige or baptism or funeral.)
