Hello all This is my first foray into the Longford newsgroup, so hi to everyone from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland AUS. I am researching my g.g. grandmother Ann Leslie born c. 1836 in Longford, dau of Alexander Leslie and Rose Quin. According to family sources, Ann stowed away on a ship to Australia with a girlfriend when she was about 14 years old. She subsquently married the captain/one of the crew Alex Pritchard in 1856 in Melbourne. I would love to hear from anyone researching these families. Regards Carol Barrie
