Hello to all, My great great grandfather Thomas SAMON was listed in the Griffith's Valuation as being a shop/hotelkeeper of 43 Main Street, Edgeworthstown. A few years ago a cousin of mine visited Edgeworthstown as was told that the hotel no longer existed and there was a vacant block where it once stood.
