Emigrated to Victoria, Australia in 1856 on ship 'Severn' aged 18. 1 DIMOND family in Gortermone on 1821 census remnant. Did the families belong to LONGFORD? Have found an abundance of CASSIDYs in Drumlish over the border on UK Vital Records CD. DIMOND also believed to be a LONGFORD name according to the ladies at the Heritage Centre.
