Carol, In reply to your message of Feb 18, good places to stay in Ireland are the Bed & Breakfast homes. My husband and I went to Ireland for three weeks, rented a car, and stayed in the B&Bs. It was great because you get to know the people that way. Have fun and good luck on your research. Eileen
