Survivors of the Great Famine lists Reardon (indicating it was then spelled Rereton) in three townlands in Ardagh Ph. Patrick was in Cross townland. There were Gormans in many townlands of several parishes, Thomas being listed at Lisnageerah in Mostrim Ph. Interestingly there was an Honoria Gorman listed. This person would be at least one generation older than your individuals, who were infants or not born in 1854, but the first and second wife seem to have been related, and this Honoria might be a grandmother?? She is listed at Deerpark townland in Agharra Ph. >After his first wife's death, he married Mary DONOHUE, daughter of >Thomas GORMAN and Ann GLEESON. The Longford Heritage Centre charge according to how much you ask them to look up. They have to go through a lot of records of baptisms and marriages of a lot of parishes. I thought i got a lot for my money. They would be able to sort out where the children were born. The record often tells who were the fathers of the bride and groom, sometimes the occupation. Mine were C of I records, don't know what is in the Catholic records.
