I have a copy of my grandfathers reg. of birth. His name was Peter McLoaghlin born in Druming January 10, 1884. My question is - it says "Births Registered in the District of Abbeyshrule in the Superintendent Registrar's District of Ballymahon in the County of Longford" What is the the relationship between Druming, Abbeyshrule, Ballymahon and Longford? Where should I focus my genealogical research? Sorry for the dumb questions - I only need to ask once.
