My Mary Gorman, b. Balinalee, Longford about 1846, oldest child of James Bartholomew Gorman and Bridget Mary Devin. Sent to NYC at age 15, arriving 1861-2. She married Thomas Joseph Heslin, son of Thomas Heslin and Catherine McKeon of Longford in Nov. 1868. In 1920's Mary & Thomas lived on the West Side of NY, at 90th St. Mary had a sister Annie in NY, brother Edward and Bernard. Perhaps others. Now, there were twins Katie and James Gorman living near her, but I am unsure if they were her younger siblings or her Niece and Nephew, but I believe the later. Katie GORMAN was born Balinlee Co Longford, had twin brother James GORMAN. Patrick Brady had a brother John, and a twin sister Katie Brady. Katie GORMAN m. Patrick Brady, named their son James, b. 1910 NY.They were living at that time on West 96th Street, parish of the Blessed Sacrament. Katie Gorman Brady d. 1965, buried with Patrick Brady at Calvary. Catherine (also Katie) Brady. twin sister of Patrick Brady, m. Katie Gorman's twin brother James Gorman. They named their son Joseph Gorman. OK, does anything seem familiar?
