Druming is a townland of 597 acres in Kilglass Parish. That parish was in the Ballymahon Poor Law Union in County Longford. To get miraculous info about location of a townland or other Irish geographic division try the IreAtlas Townland Data Base website <www.seanruad.com/> David Leahy's Griffiths index lists a Michael McLoughlin at Druming in 1854. In his 1901 Census index there was and Anne McLoughlin there. He found the name in numerous other townlands with variant spellings including McLoughlan, McGloughlin, McLloughlin and McGloughlan as well as McLoughlin and McLaughlin. In 1854 there were also a John Kenny and a Judith Farrell at Druming. Rachel Smith >
