I visited Keenagh back in 1981 .The people were wonderfulI attended the last Mass in the last segreated church in Ireland the men sat seperate from the women and children.I came back a week later for the first Mass in the new church Saint Dominicks.My grandfather had been baptised and my great grandparents were married in the old church.I do not remember the words but the Bishop talked of the many years and ancestors that had attended when he placed the Altar Stone in the new Altar.My family was from Lislea (Patrirge) and Abbyderg McDermott.Talk to everone the Irish are friendly Have a wonderful time Florence McDermott Gilmartin in Florida
