Hi. Im researching Smith/Smyth in Tirlickeen townland. The family homestead is near Ballymahon. The earliest record I found was Andrew Smith, father of Michael. Michael was born around the famine. I found no marriage record in the parish register for Andrew but he was somebody's best man in the 1830's. On the Farrell side, my g-g-grandmother Rose Farrell was married in 1876 at age 21 to Michael Smith above. The marriage record lists her father as Patt. Farrell of Barry. Russ
