Dear List, I hope you can give me some help - I am searching for the birth place of my husband's grandfather, Patrick Nolan. We were told by older family members it was Mahorancea, Lanesboro County, Longford, but we have been unable to find the town. My husband's ggrandparents were Michael Nolan and Margaret Fox from Ireland. They had a least three children: Patrick Henry b. November 21, 1868 m. Mary H. Fitzpatrick abt. 1893 and settled in Brooklyn, NY and had 4 children. Mary b. unknown m. Patrick McDermott and had one son Thomas b. unknown m. Mary Farrell and had 5 children.
