Not sure if there is a connection, but you can try contacting my Aunt, Bernadette Stephenson born McLaughlin. She has information on some of that side of the family. We had a family member, Mary McLaughlin born Mary (Mae) Trimble who married a McLaughlin - if memory serves me correctly. My Aunt Bernadette can be reached at bsteffense@aol.com. Our family was Trimble/Twaddle also of Edgeworthstown - George, Robert, Edward, Alexander, Dorcus and Matilda. The widow Trimble was born Ellen Twaddle and left Longford in 1873 and headed for the US with her children in 1883 on the City of Richmond. George died in 1868 and the widow sold her farm to an unknown owner in 1870 who then sold it to the Mulligan family in 1890. Let me know if there is any connection in all of this. Stephanie Mello
