We were not able to get a brith cert.We did find out he worked for the White Star Line and married our grand mother NoraShanley in England 1903 Was also told he was in the Woar War.His fathers name was John Joesph Coughlin mothers name was Cathrine Bracken They came to New York in 1908 Joseph went to work on the docks in Red Hook Bklyn he worked there for the rest of his lifeNora passed a way in 1920 Joseph then married Margaret Kelly in 1921 In doing this history we have found a Patrick Coughlin in the famliy polt.He was born in New York never married he passed in 1933 His fathers name was William Coughlin mothers name was Cathrine Kelly.They were born in Ireland We think Joseph may of been here befor 1908? He may of had family in New York but we don't know Thanking You Eileen
