    3. Hi Roland Thank you for your reply. The name Shawn/Sean McInerney has not cropped up in any of the little research I've done so far. Unfortunately I have no further information than what I have mentioned below. I have not been searching very long for the McInerneys and although they are not related, Michael Rudd and his wife Catherine nee McInerney [daughter of John McInerney & Johanna Dower] fostered my grandfather Edgar Lynch, here in Sydney, NSW Australia from 1898 when my grandfather's mother [Deborah Lynch] died. I have a feeling the McInerney's knew my grandfather's Lynch family back in either Co Clare or Limerick. Regards Joan Birtles Hello Joan in NSW, Au. I new a Shawn McInerney, not sure of the spelling? He was from Sligo to Canada and then lived in Fresno, Ca. where I am. Shawn/Sean was in a Convalescent a few years ago and I have heard nothing About him since. Roland Young Hello listers I am trying to trace the family of John McInerney born about 1829 in Thomond Gate? Limerick. If I have the correct man, John came to Australia as an assisted immigrant, on the ship "David McIver 2" in 1854 as an agricultural labourer, he could read and write and his religion was church of Ireland. The John McInerney I am tracing came to Oz before 1862 when he married Johanna Dower. He was shown as a Coach builder. The John above could have been him as New south Wales was after agricultural labourers at that time and he may have been rejected if shown that he was a coach builder. I have no idea of his parent's names, but his children to Johanna Dower were Catherine, Edward J, Mary, Thomas, John, Mary Pauline, Lavinia Ethel and Oscar. John died in 1887 at Balmain in NSW, Australia. I have not been able to find his birth on the LDS site. Thank you for any assistance. Joan in NSW, Australia
