Sandy, I suppose you know that a Coll family of the nearby (10 miles east) parish of Bruree were the maternal ancestors of the late Irish president Eamon De Valera, by whom he was raised. Its not a common surname so perhaps there might be a connection? Not sure if Cull is a variant spelling of Coll or a different surname. I own a wonderful book "From Bruree to Corcomohide" by Mainchin Seoighe which has a lot of local information about De Valera and family but it does focus on Bruree. However, Feenagh is included in his map of "ancient Corcomohide." A Hugh Gorman of an area which is in modern Feenagh was a landowner dispossesed of his land in 1654. I would love to connect with someone with knowledge of these areas. I need to further my knowledge of the areas if I plan to visit them this year! Any help would be appreciated!
