    3. Hello Joss! When I first came to Ireland 2001 I was looking for Young families. One was in Co. Cavan near the town of Cavan. It was John Young and had a Castle given to him by the Queen? He sold it and then it burned down. He became Govern General of Canada for two years. I then found out he was born in India and his parents worked for England. Here is a link to You Tube for the unedited version - at some point it will be tidied up and that version will be on the FIBIS (Families in British India Society) site. In the meantime, the lecture proper starts 5 minutes in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQDd0NH1NXg <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQDd0NH1NXg&feature=youtu.be> &feature=youtu.be Basically if your guys were in the army from the 18th century onwards, they would have almost certainly gone to India, and may well have matched, hatched and been dispatched there. There is lots of useful info here on how to find them. Joss ------------------------------ To contact the IRL-LIMERICK list administrator, send an email to IRL-LIMERICK-admin@rootsweb.com.
