To whomever Margaret was addressing: My Rowles family from Clonteen, Doon emigrated in 1850, but appear in the GV (farm 23, I think). When they left the land was transferred to a family named Fitzgibbon and was occupied by a descendant of that family named Gerald Lonergan in 1995 when we visited there. You might get some information about whether your Michael was related to them if someone of that name is still there. Try the phone book or the post office, or better, the historical society or _http://www.doonbleisce.com/_ (http://www.doonbleisce.com/) A search of 118.ie white pages turned up 7 Lonergans, none in Doon but one in Cappamore (which Clonteen is in now) and one in Pallasgreen which is next to Doon. There are 17 Fitzgibbons listed in the county but they are all in the city. Ann Lamb In a message dated 8/7/12 12:31:20 A.M. The others all came from Doon, Co. Limerick, so it seems likely that Michael Fitzgibbon did also. He may have been connected to the Hanleys (Ellen?s mother?s family). Does this fit any of your information? Best wishes, Margaret Lloyd
