Valerie: It is interesting that at the wedding of my g-grandparents, David McAuliffe & Margaret Jones of Limerick, at Spanish Place Chapel in Marylebone, Midd. (London) in 1853, the witnesses were John Fitzgibbon and Patrick Keefe. Their "X" signatures were witnessed by Mary Fitzgibbon. I know your winter in Sydney has not been as cold as our summer is hot. Valerie and Andy, I have Fitzgibbon in my line and am willing to share info. Not sure where in Ireland they originated but, they were here in Chicago.
