    3. You might also try the free website www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation (I think that is the full url). They have images of the ordnance survey maps which pop up and can be moved around with a mouse after you search for names in griffiths. I don't think you can print the maps, except by a print-screen command, but the borders and numbering of plots correspond to griffiths entries - I found them very useful to visualize the location of plots and borders of (historical) townlands, etc. I also found I needed a good browser as the images are very large (flash?) files. Since they are "powered by google," I used Google Chrome browser with good results.
