Would anybody be able to tell me why a Thomas Byrne who was buried Jan 1860 appears to be buried alone..his daughter Dora died the following year & is buried in another part of the cemetery, her grandfather John Byrne who died many years later is buried with her. Thomas Byrne was married to Eliza Bennett who was a Protestant & is probably buried with her family...I cannot find her resting place. Any help greatly appreciated. Robyn

    3. If one of them died in hospital of an infectious illness they were often buried quickly in the poor section of the graveyard. This could explain it. Also if the grave was only purchased for one burial or as above allocated because it was not purchased at all.
