    3. I am looking for anyone who might be part of the following family: John Gallagher, National Teacher, who married Ann McNamara in Knockainy RC parish in 1850. They had the following children in Knockainy: Anthony in 1851, Michael in 1852, and Catherinein 1857. A John Gallagher and Ann McNamara had s son Thomas Gallagher who was baptized in 1855 in theRC parish of Glenroe and Ballyorgan, Limerick. John, at that time was a National Teacher in Glenroeand then in Ballyorgqan. Four years later in 1859, John and Ann had a daughter Helen who was baptized in the RC parish of Ballylanders, Limerick. From information on National Schools we know that John Gallagher went from Ballyorgan to Ballylanders soThomas and Helen are children of thesame John and Ann. I am trying to learn whether the John Gallagher who lived on the groundsof a National School in Knockainey at the time of Griffith's is the same John Gallagher whowas a teacher in Ballyorgan and in Ballylanders. There is no book available on the historyof Knockainey schools so I can't be sure it is the same John Gallagher. I am wondering if someone in this extended family might be doing research.
