My search for an Anthony SIMS began in Madras India when a Thomas SIMS aged 23 married my ggg aunt Lydia Thorpe in 1863 in Madras with his father shown as Anthony. The only Anthony Sims I can find in Madras married Charlotte Barker in 1849 at Poonamallee, Madras, his father was shown as Hugh. Also an Anthony Sims died in Madras in 1859 aged 38 so I am assuming he is the Anthony Sims who married Charlotte Barker. I have no proof that the Anthony Sims who died in Madras in 1859 is the Anthony who was baptized in 1820 in Limerick but just trying to eliminate or hopefully find a SIMS ancestor who may have information. I have tried many varieties of the spelling of the surname SIMS which differs on a couple of records. Thank you for any help. I kept the email for future reading but if someone can make it simple for me, I would be very appreciative.
