Kathy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sharon Slater" <sharon.o.slater@gmail.com> Subject: [IRL-LIMERICK] Mount St Lawrence Cemetery, 1850s transcription complete I have finally finished the transcription for the 1850s register of burials in Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery, the register began in March 1855. Each year has it's own page, and the site is searchable by name, and you will be able to find out who else was buried in the same plot as your ancestor by using "find" function in your browser, use this to help you quickly locate a name on a page also. http://limerickslife.com/mount-saint-lawrence-cemetery/ Hopefully this will be of some help as the registers are quite difficulty to read while trying to locate one name, now on to the next decade. If you see any transcription errors please let me know. Sharon Limerick's Life <http://www.limerickslife.com> Limerick's Life Facebook <http://www.facebook.com/limerickslife>
My ancestors came from "Limerick, Ireland" to Mt St Louis, Ontario, Canada. What are the chances that they named Mt St Louis after Mt St Lawrence? I have not been able to find any info on them in Ireland. I am researching Patrick & Cornelius FRAWLEY (1793 & 1799) who settled in Canada around 1832. Chris, I have some limited information for a Frawley family here in Chicago. Although I haven't made a connection, there could be one with my Mason family from Co. Clare.
