    3. Valerie: My mistake, before you supplied the name of the paper and the year, I did a search for the terms "james russell" AND "crowe" on http://www.limerickcity.ie site and it returned the following: : Russell File Format: PDF/Adobe Acrobat Married last Saturday, Mr James Russell to Miss Crowe, daughter of the late Mr William Crowe, merchant, handsome fortune. Clonmell Gazette, Thrs 3 July 1788 ... www.limerickcity.ie/media/Russell-7.pdf So I assumed that the marriage announcement came from the Clonmell Gazette for 3 Jul 1788 and that the marriage records on rootsireland.ie and familysearch.org didn't match since they were from 1787. ( I should have clicked on the link to the PDF document itself rather than rely on text that was returned by the limerickcity.ie search !) But you might want to check out that document out anyhow at www.limerickcity.ie/media/Russell-7.pdf (it appears to be an extraction of every person they could find with the surname Russesll that had anything at all to do with Limerick city. ) Happy Hunting! Would marriage notice not have been printed until 8 months later????
