Hi Margaret, I checked the catalogue at the National Archives and could not find a Thomas Heath in the 47th Regiment. This does not necessarily mean that it is incorrect. It may mean that he did not receive a pension or that the record has not survived. Do you know how old he was when he died. Christine I think he may have been married though to Mary Spearing from Limerick and may have been living in Waterford before his death.. this is only maybe's. Mary turns up in London with son John on census in 1871. No sign of Thomas Heath there Margaret ----- Original Message ----- From: "Margarets gmail" <margaretspearin@eircom.net> To: <irl-limerick@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, April 03, 2012 1:38 AM Subject: Re: [IRL-LIMERICK] Thomas Heath soldier 47th regiment > He was aged 24 on death record from rootsireland so born ab.1828 > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Christine Tregonning" <CJTregonning@xtra.co.nz> > To: <irl-limerick@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Tuesday, April 03, 2012 1:26 AM > Subject: Re: [IRL-LIMERICK] Thomas Heath soldier 47th regiment > > >> Hi Margaret, >> >> I checked the catalogue at the National Archives and could not find a >> Thomas >> Heath in the 47th Regiment.
