Dear Kathy I know this is a cheek but I wonder if you would mind keeping an eye open for me with regard to my very elusive Irish ancestors. I am a pensioner and can't afford paying sites. I am trying to find info about my great grandmother Ann McCoy who was supposed to have been born in Limerick in about 1828. She eventually married a John Har(r)old in England. He was supposed to have been born in Derry or Scotland but, his son William, couldn't make up his mind so, I am even more confused. Family stories mentioned that Ann's brother was either a Priest or a Member of Parliament. However, as no one has a name for him I very much doubt the authenticity of this rumour. Please don't go out of your way to check, I just thought you could keep an eye out for the names in case they pop up somewhere. Kind regards Monica in sunny Cape Town.
