I too have used the LDS records and appreciate that they are there to use. However, literally everyone of my relatives that I have found has been recorded with incorrect information, so though I use it, I basically just use them for a guide line, too many inaccuracies. I looked for my great grandmother for about a year using their records only to find out the person they had was NOT my greatgrandmother..A telephone call to them proved fruitless as they were not willing to even entertain the idea that they were inaccurate. I was in St. George Utah last year and had the same problem..so my suggestion would be "dont put all your eggs in one basket". I will probably get a lot of negative responses to this post, but I found them to be very rude and uncooperative left a bad impression with me. As far as copyright. how can one copyright something they got from public resources? I feel they are my families records they belong my the family, Cris Atwater California
