Hi John thank you very much..could you tell me how I would proceed from here? How I would find out the given names of these LANGAN's that seemed to be spread out. The town names Ive come across most frequently are Askeaton, Shannagolden, Rathkeale and Limerick, Kerry was also noted somewhere in something I came across. My other great grandfathers (Lawrence or Laurence FITZSIMMONS) obit and death cert. only say Meath, so perhaps I had LANGAN's there also. Im also looking for CARRIG's who may lived near the LANGAN's as, James CARRIG and Ellen LANGAN,sister of my greatgrandfather Maurice Sylvester LANGAN came to the USA together about 1857, they married n Canada and settled in Ilinois before Nebraska. But I havent found the CARRIG's in Ireland yet either. Thank you again, Cris
