Well, I will just jump in here and support the film available thru LDS. I have viewed 250+ film just on my German ancestors alone and took my line back to 1575. I am not Mormom and was a librarian there for 10+ years and many people rent their films. The best way to research Europe is in your own country using these films. I feel these discssions are helpful to everyone because they give you new ideas and the newbies to genealogy need all the help they can get. I was once a newbie and appreciated all the info supplied by more experienced researchers.
