I contacted the National Library in order to inquire about the possibility of using a camera to to photograph information in parish registers. I received the following response: "Dear Mr Dunleavy Thank you for your email to Reader Services regarding copying of parish records. As you know from our website we do not provide copies of, or transcriptions from, these registers. Nor are readers permitted to take copies using any camera or other copying device. If you wish to get a copy from a parish register you might like to contact the parish priest to ask if he can provide you with an extract. If you know the name of the parish I can supply you with contact details.
