    3. I don't know why the LDS do not have microfilm of the Limerick Diocese but apparently the National Library in Dublin does. This is a link to the page dealing with parish registers: http://www.nli.ie/en/parish-register.aspx The county of Limerick is covered to a greater or lesser extent by four RC dioceses: Limerick; Killaloe (one parish, Castleconnel); Cashel and Emly (14 parishes I think) and Cloyne (two parishes, Charleville and Freemount). The Church of Irreland structure is almost certainly different and probably conforms more to the original civil parish structure. The current RC parish structure may be different to when the registers were recorded. Parishes may have been combined or broken up or new parishes created. The same may be true of the diocese structure. I hope this is of use.
