I am trying to find the family or anyone else who is researching Anne KEANE born 4/11/1810 at Limerick IRL to John and Ann KEANE. Anne 'married' Alexander Robinson and somehow found her way to Wolvenham, England, charged with stealing and was sent with her son William to Australia, arriving 1834. cheers Maureen

Hi Maureen I can't find Anne KEANE on convict arrivals in 1834 ?? I do have a Patrick HICKEY marrying Anne KEANE in 1844 Sydney. Is this your girl ?? Thank you Colin for looking up Anne. I am sorry I made a mistake about when she arrived. Ann/e, at the time of her trial and arrival in Sydney, said she had been married to Alexander Robinson, but I have not found a marriage in either Ireland or England. I have information once she arrived in Australia and a copy of her trial, but I am having trouble finding exactly where she came from and her parents and possibly her siblings. I want to go to Ireland and England either this year or next and 'walk in my ancestors footsteps'. To do this I need more information.
