    3. Hi Kerry, I think this might be a connection. Mary Scanlon's father was John Scanlon. She married John (Mc)Kearney, but up until now I did not know where. This could possibly be her father and further indicate that Mary Scanlon married John (Mc) Kearney in the Glin area. Thank you very much. Please feel free to send any other information about this Scanlon family or the Kearney family. Regards, Liz Kerry <kerryb@austarnet.com.au> wrote: Hi Liz Its roughly about three miles Kerry ----- Original Message ----- From: "Elizabeth Dow" To: Sent: Sunday, February 17, 2008 10:46 PM Subject: Re: [IRL-LIMERICK] Paupers Warren- West Limerick 1845-1849.Scanlon > Hi Kerry, > > Thank you very much. 3. Hi Liz There were a few families of Scanlon's in Glin parish between 1830-1850 in the townlands of Cahara (2 families), Kinard, Glin village,(3 families) Farrenmiller/Ballyhoulahan and Tennekilla (near Ballyhahill). John seems to be a common name shared in all families. There are no children registered as (Mc)Kearney in Glin, only Denis Kearny b 1835, Catherine b 1854 father is a grocer and moved to Limerick in Dec 1861 and John b 1856, father is a policeman of Glin. The other is Daniel Kearney born 1830 Killeany. There were McInerney's Kerry ----- Original Message ----- From: "Elizabeth Dow" <juliegoolyyarmouth@yahoo.com> To: <irl-limerick@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, February 18, 2008 12:10 AM Subject: Re: [IRL-LIMERICK] Paupers Warren- West Limerick 1845-1849.Scanlon > Hi Kerry, > > I think this might be a connection.
