Try the LDS (Mormon Research rooms). Even here in New Zealand many LDS research rooms have the indexes in their libraries. If not you may be able to order them. Good Hunting. I don't know if I dare assume she pre-deceased him or not but what other reason could there be? What is horribly frustrating is this will was transcribed in 1981 by a professional genealogist and he made no notation of where he obtained it and although this genealogist appears still to be living and working in Co Kildare, Ireland, he has not answered either my emails to him nor my snail mail so I'm left wondering if he totally made this will up! And I guess that brings me to my answer to Marie...I have no idea where you look for Irish will indexes--one would suppose in the local courthouses themselves just as we do here in the US. Any pointers, anyone?
