    3. Yes, you have to go through the Tipperary Family History Research group and they, as you say, will undertake a search for you for a fee. Their web address is as follows: http://www.tfhr.org/ Kerry is another diocese which does not allow free access to the microfilms. However, I do believe it is possible to obtain a letter of authorisation in order to do so. This must be presented at the National Library when seeking access. The National Library also holds the microfilm of the Diocese of Cashel and Emly but cannot release them for viewing without a letter of authorisation from the bishop, which I believe is not likely to be forthcoming. I don't know about the availability of these films in the LDS FHS. It might be worth a try. J. J.
