Hi Virginia and Judie Thank you both for your replies. Thats all I was asking for, was if anyone knew, but it got blown completely out of proportion...also for the "record" I would like to say, I didn't say anything about the mormons or not using their records because of their religion. I said the records for "my" family are inaccurate. I too have tried to find ancestors and as an example other than my great grandmother, they have an aunt married n Illinois in 1857, when actually they were married in Canada in 1856 I think it was, don't have it at hand right now.So my feelings about their records has nothing to do with their religion, even though now that it has been brought up that way, I don't like it and I don't agree with it and thats my opinion which Iam entitled to.I'm Catholic you think I don't hear negative stuff all the time about the Catholic church. big deal, I believe what I believe and others opinions of my religion or church do not affect me in one way or another. So now, if anyone wants to blast me off list again, give it a rest I am just deleting them..this was never meant to be a "religious" discussion, I asked a question that a lot of people felt compelled to jump on me about...a question folks....isn't that what we are doing here?
