Hi Kaye You requested I look for your family in the Glin area, sorry but this is quite difficult as I have two filing cabinets on Glin history, families, tithes, Griffiths Valuations. schools records, wedding banns, marriages, baptisms, evictions, leases, cemetery inscriptions, newspaper articles, old photos etc..many many Ballygiltenan Journals, books and other items a collection that took over twenty years. I cannot afford to take time out to research a family from A-Z. What I offered was looks ups on the Bounty Immigrants. The other material I hope to put on CD in the near future in conjunction with other persons to make available to everyone. What I can add is some information from the Schools file. Patrick Connelly born 1831 resides in Killeany his father is a labourer and he left school April 1846 to work as a labourer. Mary Connolly born 1862 Ballynamuddagh, father farmer. 1868 Too young too come to school in winter. Mary Buckley birth date: June 1846 Ballynamuddagh farmer left school July 1860 another entry has her listed under Ballynagaul but as these townlands are next to each other it would be the same person. Daniel Kenelly Jan born 1849 lives in Glin father is a fisherman 1857/05 Moved to Clare - Readmitted 1858/06 Moved to Clare - Date left 19-06-1858 1860/06 Moved to Clare - Date left: 09-06-1860 1862/09 Family moved to England - Date left: 27-09-1862 1863/12 Went to England - Date left: 19-12-1863 (I am not sure if these entries is all one person) Daniel Kenelly born Jan 1849 lives Glin father is a labourer.
