    1. [IRL-LIMERICK] 1901 and 1911 City of Limerick Census Records
    2. Is there anyone on the list that knows the enumeration dates for either or both of these censuses? Know I can order copy of the actual record from http://www.limerickcity.ie/CityLibrary/LocalStudies/ but was wondering prior to putting out 10 Euro for them + mailing costs if anyone can give me an overview of the questions asked and answered on these two censuses? For example, is it like most of our US census that ask for the individual's parent's place of birth? etc? Since both the records I want are for priests, I am not gonna get the names of any children, etc. (or at least I hope I'm not! lol!) so just trying to evaluate if I'll get any 'bang' for my buck! Thanks! Kathy

    3. I took a peek at Kathy's link (below) and on the 1911 census of Limerick county I found some names of interest but can someone help me decipher the listing? When I pull up the file for the letter F and scroll down to Fitzgerald I find this listing: Surname Forename Townland Civil Parish Corresponding RC Parish Fitzgerald, Maurice, Dromtrasna, Collins Abbeyfeale Abbeyfeale Why is the townland listed as 'Dromtrasna, Collins'? and what does 'Corresponding RC' stand for? Roman Catholic??? I'm not certain there is a connection but Maurice, Fitzgerald, Abbeyfeale and Collins are all related names/places. But then what would I do with this info from here? Thanks-Karen http://www.limerickcity.ie/CityLibrary/LocalStudies/

    3. Dromtrasna (Collins) is the name of the townland to distinguish it from Dromtrasna North and South.RC refers to Catholic parish which doesn't always coincide with the civil parish. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Karen McGann" <imhear@comcast.net> To: <irl-limerick@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, February 25, 2008 7:20 PM Subject: [IRL-LIMERICK] 1901 and 1911 City of Limerick Census Records >I took a peek at Kathy's link (below) and on the 1911 census of Limerick > county I found some names of interest but can someone help me decipher the > listing?
