COMMONS -- On Saturday, January 18, PATRICK COMMONS, a native of the county Limerick, parish of Galbally, Ireland. His friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, from his late residence, foot of Seventieth street, and Eleventh avenue, on Monday after- noon, at one o'clock. He was a member of the sity- ninth regiment, (Irish Brigade), and fought in several battles. Note: Suspect that although this gentleman's surname was COMMONS that in the regimental records of the 69th (Irish Brigade) his name is given as Patrick CUMMINGS / CUMMINS. Regimental records give his age at enlistment in 1861 as 26 (born c1835) and IFHF has a baptism record for: Commons Patrick 1834 Co. Limerick Parish: GALBALLY & AHERLOW.
