O'Carroll, assistant of St. Anthony's Church, Greenpoint, died at the home of Michael Mc- Grath, 1003 Putname avenue, Brooklyn, on Mon- day, Jan. 1. He was born in 1840 in Bruff, Coun- ty Limerick, Ireland. He was ordained in 1865. He labored in the diocese of Burlington, Vt., for twenty-six years.
