I am so glad to read a posting about Pallas Grean. I have been trying for the last few years to find info re: my ancestor. His name was Matthew Ryan and family notes say he died in Pallas Grean in 1855. I've yet to find a discussion on this list about any Ryans from this town -- yet I'm told the name was so common you must also know the family's "nickname".
