Hello List, I am lost in Ireland, on this occasion Limerick. I am trying to trace the family of JOHN TRISTRAM, (6th Dragoon Guards 1875)and Wife CATHERINE ANN nee NAYLOR. In 1916 in Canada their son, THOMAS MURRAY TRISTRAM (b.1875 Norwich, Norfolk) stated his Mother lived HALLS BLDG., NICHOLAS ST., LIMERICK, IRELAND. I have no information as to where or when any of them died and would dearly love to find out. It would appear that JOHN had died prior to 1916, as Catherine was stated as next-of-kin. My Ancestors were SAMUEL HERBERT TRISTRAM, HORATIO MURRAY TRISTRAM and parents ADAM and MARGARET TRISTRAM all of IRELAND. Could someone please tell me how I find Death registrations in Limerick and Ireland late 19th-20th century? Any help would be very much appreciated. I live in Australia and am looking for a website if at all possible.........which may help my search. TIA, Robyn Australia

Hi Robyn, If you go to the Irish Family History Foundation (IFHF) website, http://ifhf.brsgenealogy.com/map.php?&set=yes you will find a map of Ireland. Click on Limerick and do a search for your Tristram. I did a quick search and found a record of the death of Margaret Tristram in 1864 in Limerick. However I found nothing for the others you mention, but as I say I only did a quick search. This site has birth marriage and death records, covering most counties, on line.
