Death, for which the whole life of Sister Patricia had been a fitting preparation, could have no terrors for her. She born her sufferings with resignation, and her death was but the echo of her beautiful and edifying life. The remembrance of her many virtues will ever be fresh in the minds of those who knew and loved her. The funeral took place from the convent on Saturday morning. Solemn requiem mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Healy, with Rev. E. L. Spalding, deacon; Rev. Father Cusack, sub-deacon. Rev. E. L. Spalding delivered a very touching sermon. The cathedral choir, under the direction of Mr. B. Wortman, rendered the Gregorian mass effectively.
